Welcome to Break A Leg, a podcast dedicated to you, the aspiring or professional speaker.In the show, I’ll be sharing the latest strategies and techniques to help you grow your speakers kills and launch your business. 

I'm ianka fleerackers, a Belgian actress in theatre, television and movies, a presenter on national TV, radio and events and an author. A couple of years ago I met brilliant speakers and I got under the spell of technology and the future. So I decided to use my expertise and knowledge in a different way and became a storytelling architect and speaking mentor for leaders and visionairies.  

In this speakers podcast  Break A Leg we’re gonna be looking at two main areas.

First of all, I’ll talk about the craft of speaking: I will be giving you my personal techniques, tips and insights I have developed though out my career.

1. Secondly, we’re going to look at how to market yourself as a speaker, how to get booked on stages.

The types of episodes that we’re going to have are going to be varied. 

1. First of all, I will be speaking in two languages: there will be episodes in my native tongue Dutch but also in english. 
2. Break a Leg is a hybrid podcast. This means it is a mix in format: First you’ll get solo episodes like this, where I’ll just be sharing an insight, a technique or tip on how to grow your speaking business. 
3. But I love interviewing: So in depth interviews with other professionals of the speakers business like Speaker bureaus, Speaker coaches, event organisers. 
4. The third area is behind the scenes. I’m going to take you behind the scenes of my works as a speaker and moderator.
